| Description (Service) | The Lions Club of Cobourg is a service club that supports community projects and individuals with various needs. * Assistance for visual impairment or diabetes. * Focus of the Lions Club is to reverse the causes of visual impairment around the world. * Hall available year round for rent for functions such as weddings, banquets, anniversaries, and meetings. Deposit required. Call Cindy Barrett for bookings. * Catering provided by the hall. Kitchen facilities only used by catering staff * Alcohol permitted within the hall; bartender provided. * Air conditioned hall has east and west sections, each with a capacity of 200 people (the whole hall holds 600 with chairs only; 500 people with table and chairs). * The Lions Club runs the bar, and staff provide the meals. No food or liquor can be brought to the hall. * Revenue from hall supports the Lion's Club projects in the community. |
