Description

Description (Service) A resource for families who are seeking respite services. Direct Support Professionals meet with children supported and families to plan their respite needs; assist children supported and families to complete an Individual Support Plan that is person-directed and builds on goals and wishes that best support the child; and assist families with service coordination/case management supports to:
  • access or understand funding options
  • explore the full range of community-based services
  • complete service and/or funding applications
  • attend school meetings and/or case conferences as required
  • prepare for and manage life transitions
CLRN also provides an annual respite subsidy allocation to families to purchase respite services.
