Description (Service) Mission is to improve the quality of life for Ontario's seniors through their members with educational programs, stakeholder relations, policy review and feedback, research projects and research materials information, referral, counseling, community outreach and support, self-help and volunteer programs. 
* Community-based and includes organizations representing people 55+ and seniors 
* Offers the following programs for their membership and the general public: Conferences,Tuesdays with OSSCO lecture series, Health Awareness, Information and referral and mediated access, inter-generational and ethno-cultural programs, Computer training programs, government relations, research.  
* Seniors' Learning Without Barriers Series, Speakers' Lectures and various Workshops offered in 7 Ontario communities, support and resource to individual seniors, people 55+ and organizations/groups representing seniors
