Description (Service) National, community based organization of volunteers providing enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer. Services include: 
* Local services and support groups to people living with cancer in partnership with a number of community organizations 
* Medical appointment transportation program  
* Information about cancer and risk reduction 
* Emotional support for people diagnosed with cancer and their caregivers 
* Funds for cancer research 
* Advocacy for health public policy 
* Care room offers wigs, head coverings and prosthesis 
* Staffing: staff and volunteers

Eligibility Transportation Program: must be ambulatory * volunteer vehicles are not wheelchair accessible
Application Call, email or walk in for details or to arrange for transportation to medical appointments
Languages English ; Many other languages through interpreters
Fees None ; Annual registration fee of $100 for transportation service. This covers all trips for one year. * Subsidies: There is a compassionate program for those who cannot pay.
