Description (Service) A non-profit, community-based environmental protection organization dedicated to protecting, restoring, and managing local natural resources within the Lower Trent Conservation watershed region. Works to safeguard and restore rivers, lakes and streams, protect and restore natural habitats, protect lives and property from natural hazards like flooding or erosion, and provide opportunities for the public to learn from, enjoy and respect the natural environment. Owns close to 3,700 acres of land that protect the natural heritage of the region and provide outdoor recreational opportunities.
