Food For Kids CKL is a non-profit community partnership that works to ensure all children attend school well nourished as well as:

ensures all children and youth have access to healthy, nutritious, safe and personally acceptable food to optimize their learning at school
support the healthy development of children and youth
promote healthy eating habits among children and youth
create healthy eating environments in schools

The Food For Kids CKL Steering Committee is chaired by a Public Health Dietitian and runs under the Central East Lead Agency, the Peterborough Child & Family Centre's along with six other regions

Eligibility	Kawartha Lakes Public school students Nutrition program is available for ALL children and youth to access, regardless of socio-economic background.
