The City of Kawartha Lakes Fire Rescue Service is the Head Quarters for all the Fire Stations in the City of Kawartha Lakes.

Provide the public education programs to students, residents, organizations and groups in the municipality.

Educational Programs:

alarm assistance program
arson prevention program for children
attend and participate in community events such as barbeques and fundraisers
day care and camp programs and presentations
door-to-door smoke alarm program
elementary school programs
learn not to burn kindergarten
learn not to burn grade 1-2
home hazards grade 3-4
fire is fast grade 5-6
what's cooking for pre-teens grade 7-8
close before you doze grade 7-8
fire extinguisher training
fire prevention week

hospital and long-term facility staff presentations
