Description (Service) Provides leadership in the:  
  • Protection and provision of the humane care and treatment of all animals 
  • Education of the public
Offers services such as: 
  • Adoption service of dogs, cats and small animals 
  • Pet food bank for short term emergencies.  
  • Emergency boarding – short term in cases such as unexpected evictions, catastrophic house damage or needing to relocate due to domestic violence 
  • Surrendering animals – call first to make sure the shelter can take the animal

Hours Mon-Wed, Fri 12 noon-4 pm, Thu 12 noon-7 pm, Sat 11 am-3 pm, Sun 12 noon-3 pm

Eligibility Minimum age is 16 years old for volunteers. Younger volunteers are accepted, but must be accompanied by a parent/guardian volunteer.
Application Adoption by appointment only.
