Description
Description (Service) The program mandate is to offer support to the youth of the City of Kawartha Lakes. The service is made available to youth that are experiencing some difficulties or stress in their lives that is creating problems for them. The program is structured and activity-based and is delivered in a small group format It is confidential and provided to youth and their families at no cost. The focus of the program is to aid children in developing skills to deal with day to day life and increasing resiliency. The program meets clients needs through three components: individual counselling, group counselling and social or recreational activities.
