Description

Description (Service) Provides a life skills and education-based cooking program for youth experiencing the effects of poverty.

The program uses 3 nutrition education and obesity prevention approaches:
  • direct education
  • multi-level interventions at multiple complementary organizational and institutional levels
  • community public health approaches to improve nutrition
Includes:
  • cooking lessons
  • school lunch recipes
  • how-to-videos
  • recipes
  • other resources
