Description (Service) | CRIME STOPPERS is a non-profit organization and is a partnership between the police, news media and citizens in our area. It encourages people to call a direct line with information to solve crimes already committed or about to occur, and to report the whereabouts of wanted persons. Information will be taken in strict confidence. Anonymity is guaranteed. You never have to give your name or testify in court. If your tip leads to the successful conclusion of a case, you become eligible for a cash reward. This is run by a volunteer group of members of the community. Guest speaker available to talk about Crime Stoppers; what the program is and how it works. |
