Description (Service) Museum details Mossom Boyd, a 19 year old pioneer who arrived in Canada in 1833 and became the Lumber King of the Trent Valley.
  • Exhibits display tools and log shanties that were used to create exquisite textiles and lavish homes.  
  • The museum also features the Boyd Gallery which displays the work of local artists.  
  • The Bobcaygeon Library, The Boyd Gallery and the Bobcaygeon and Area Chamber of Commerce also occupy the Boyd Building.  
  • A.Sheila Boyd Foundation preserves and maintains the Boyd Building as a unique and historically significant property
