Service: Good Food Box Program

Description (Service) The Good Food Box Program is a community based initiative with a mission to improve access to affordable and healthy food for all residents of the City of Kawartha Lakes. 
  • a large box (or bag) bursting with flavour and nutrition costs just $20.
  • in addition to the assortment of fresh produce, each month's box comes with recipes prepared specifically for that month's contents.
    Boxes are available for pickup in Lindsay on the third Tuesday of the month at Cambridge Street United Church, 61 Cambridge St. N., Lindsay.  Other pickup locations in the City of Kawartha Lakes will be announced in 2022.

Boxes pick-up: 1 pm-4 pm

Application Customers must pre-register and pay by the first Tuesday of the month. Payment is cash only and is accepted at the following Community Care locations: 34 Cambridge St. S., (second floor), Lindsay or 152 Angeline St. N., (Community Health Centre), Lindsay
