Friends of the Osprey, Kawartha Lakes

Description (Service) A volunteer organization for the Kawartha Lakes Region that focuses on the Osprey, which is an indicator species for the health of the water quality in the Kawartha Lakes environment.  
Involved in osprey nest building, workshops and visits to elementary schools to teach young people about the importance of the osprey. Volunteers needed to report osprey nests in our area in order to maintain an accurate record for monitoring purposes.
