|Description (Service)||The Extrajudicial Measures Program partners with the City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service and Ontario Provincial Police, to assist youth through a pre-charge diversion program while holding them accountable for their actions.
* A non-court response to youth crime for less serious offences.
* Youth are referred by the police
* Youth facilitator works with young persons to help them take responsibility for the offence, understand its impact and help repair harm.
* Individual sessions are voluntary and offered as five 1-hour psycho-educational sessions in the following areas: Anger and Aggression Awareness, Substance Involvement, Property Crime Prevention, Healthy Relationships
