Site and Route Lead
As the Site and Route Lead, you will organize an accessible and functional site and route for participants, sponsors and volunteers. Safety and accountability is a key priority during the planning process. Executing a 1km & 5km route, managing all route volunteers and ensuring that requirements of the local municipality and the event minimum standards (provided by staff) are met are your key priorities for Run weekend. Leading up to the event, Site and Route Lead will work closely with the Run Directors to determine the services required and all permits/groups that need to be coordinated with due to impact of the event. They will be the master of inventory and storage of Run materials, and will ensure all agreements are completed and permits submitted. The Site & Route Lead demonstrates their project management to complete and oversees the set-up, tear down and clean-up (including any disposal) of the Run site. They are fantastic at forwarding all contacts/invoices and great communicators with their Run Director and committee.
