DutiesAs the Communications Lead, you are responsible for local media relations and promotions for the CIBC Run for the Cure. Working alongside your committee and Volunteer Run Director, you will be generating excitement in your community via media and social media using the PR Toolkit and social media kit provided. Identifying and preparing local spokespeople will be part of the role as well as serving as the primary media contact on Run day. In addition to your role with media/social media there may be some distribution of marking materials required. If so, you will also be responsible for establishing a post event pick up plan for promotional materials.
