DutiesCatulpa Community Support Services is seeking individuals residing in the County of Simcoe or the Region of York, with a strong interest in services and programs for those with special needs, to oversee the organization’s governance and future policy within a Volunteer Board of Director role in Barrie, ON. Individuals with disabilities, and those from diverse backgrounds and experiences are encouraged to apply. 
Currently, Catulpa Community Support Services invites volunteer applicants with experience in: 
* Stakeholder Representative 
* providing services or programs for persons with special or unique needs, for self or family member. 
* Volunteer Board of Directors role 
* finance, law, social services, healthcare, etc.within a Board setting 
The Catulpa Community Support Services’ Board is responsible for effective governance of the agency through oversight of strategic planning, fiscal review and determination of mission related policy * Board is not responsible for fundraising, personnel, programs, services, curricula or budgets 
Meetings take place in Barrie, ON six times annually for approximately three hours per meeting. Successful Board of Director applicants are appointed for a term of three years and provided a mentor
