Duties

 

      • Help the older adult engage in conversations around the stories they share.
      • Share common interests (culture, food, film, photography, etc.) and through these shared interests, create something personally significant with the older adult, with assistance from the student (e.g. photo collage, music playlist, written stories, document a recipe, etc.)
      • Lend your ideas and talents to help decrease the distance that separates people.
      •  Be a part of a creative process to listen and share in an older adult’s stories, and create an expressive artifact together (e.g. photo collage, music playlist, document a recipe).
