Duties | The Adoption Team Transport Volunteer is responsible for safely transporting adoptable GTHS cats and kittens to pet stores, to attract adopters in that community. On occasion, any remaining cats or kittens will be collected and returned to the GTHS Animal Centre.

Commitment Length | Medium Term (4 months to 1 year) - A minimum commitment period of 6 months is required for all volunteer positions at the GTHS unless otherwise stated ; With the exception of regular trips to Barrie (over a two week period each month, as at summer 2023), adoptions transportation takes place on an ad hoc, as needed, basis. Volunteers can select which transfers they’d like to assist with and the length of time volunteered will depend on the collection/drop-off point for each journey. |

Transportation | Driver License required - Valid G2 driver’s license ; Car required ; Own vehicle may be used and/or GTHS van may be used depending on volunteer's comfort level, pick-up/drop-off point and the number of animals being transported |

Additional Requirements | Candidates will be asked to provide a copy of their driver's license (front and back), and to review and complete GTHS documentation pertaining to Driving Record Certification Form and GTHS Van Use Agreement.
