DutiesVolunteer Coach: As a volunteer coach with Special Olympics sports, you would support athletes as they learn new skills in a particular sport and support the athlete and their team during competitions. We are looking for volunteers for each sport team offered in the Owen Sound area. For information on local programs, please contact Barbara King, Sport Developer, SOO-Owen Sound, owensound.sports@specialolympicsontario.ca

Non-Coaching Volunteer Positions: We are also looking for individuals who have an interest in being part of our Council - assisting with fundraising, volunteer recruitment, program/sports development.

Sports teams meet on a weekly basis at various times throughout the week. Our Council meets the third Tuesday of every month.
