DutiesHockey Fights Cancer (November 2, 2019) - Silent Auction Lead  
 
Silent Auction Lead - Using your connections, source auction items from local community businesses. Oversee the coordination of pick up, the display of the items and check-out on the day of the event. Afterwards, ensure donors receive appropriate thank-you's and successful bidders pay for and pick up items. 
 
Hockey Fights Cancer is the new title for the annual charity hockey game held by the Owen Sound Attack and the Bluewater Community Office of the Canadian Cancer Society. The event raises funds for cancer research, vital services, and support programs for those living with cancer.  
 
Planning and organizing Hockey Fights Cancer takes time, passion and creative thinking. With support from volunteers and the organization’s staff, you will be a part of something truly extraordinary in your community. Success depends on volunteers like you. With your community insight, you will raise awareness, encourage participation, and drive fundraising results.  
 
The ideal committee member has:
