DutiesTo accept donations from the public at an assigned location for the duration of the mutually agreed shift. 
Report to an appointed location to receive Tag tray, coin box, supplies, permission letter. Tag at the selected location for the duration of the mutually agreed shift. Return the Tag tray, coin box, supplies, permission letter to the appointed location. Volunteers must wear the Identity Badge supplied by the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County while tagging. The Badge must be returned with the coin box at the end of the shift.
BenefitsInteraction with the public. Satisfaction of being a "front-line" contributor to the fundraising program of the Society. This is an annual event. Only 2 hours of the volunteer's time is required.
ClientsAll funds raised in Tag Days stay within Simcoe County to assist with the mission of the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County which is "In collaboration with persons affected by Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, and care partners, we will provide the highest quality support, education and advocacy."

Volunteers must be suitably attired.

Interaction LevelSolitary ; One-on-one ; One-on-one with the general public. Can be a very interesting experience as individuals engage the volunteer in discussion.
Dates and TimesFriday: Morning, Afternoon, Evening 
Saturday: Morning, Afternoon, Evening 
 
Tag Day weekends: 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Friday and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Saturday. Each volunteer shift is 2 hours in length.

TrainingOrientation ; New Volunteers are required to attend an Orientation Session which is held in their community prior to Tag Days.
TransportationNear public transit ; Car required ; Volunteers must be able to pick up and return their Tag Trays. They must be able to get to and from their tagging location.
