Duties

To deliver/pick-up materials from locations throughout Simcoe County.  
Pick up materials from the Society offices or designated location. 
Deliver materials to participating locations within a specific time frame. Give the materials to the contact person or their designate. At prescribed time, pick up completed materials from the participating locations. Deliver completed materials to the Society office or designated location. Keep completed materials from participating locations separate from each other. Keep materials organized and in good condition.

Commitment Length Medium Term (4 months to 1 year) ; Deliveries and Pick-ups are done in the time period of a week to 10 days. Once that cycle is complete, there may not be other deliveries/pick-ups for months, or until next year.
Interaction Level Solitary ; One-on-one ; Basic interaction with designated location for distribution/collection and with participating locations.

Accessibility Unknown - accessibility will vary at locations being picked up from or delivered to.

Training Orientation ; Training is provided ; Training on the job ; New volunteers are required to participate in an interview. At the interview they will receive information about the kinds, frequency of deliveries/pick-ups.
Transportation Driver License required ; Car required - Volunteers must have a valid driver's licence, insurance and a reliable vehicle.
Police Check Required
Additional Requirements Able to deliver and pick-up materials in a timely manner. 
Volunteer must have their own insurance policy for their vehicle.
