DutiesTo fulfill speaking engagements in the community on behalf of the Alzheimer Society with the purpose of educating listeners about Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, as well as the challenges and needs of caregivers and developments in research into Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. 
Volunteers will be asked to speak to groups varying in size, from 5 to 250. Volunteers will be assigned to groups sizes in their comfort level.

The Alzheimer Society receives requests for presentation throughout Simcoe County. Our goal is to have volunteers speak to groups in their own community.
TrainingOrientation ; Training is provided ; Training on-going ; Initial training takes place in September and March. Further training at the same time of the year.
TransportationCar required ; Volunteers provide own transportation to speaking engagements. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
