Duties | Volunteers work with Alzheimer Society Family Support Coordinators in 1) a morning Support Group, 2) an afternoon Support Group or 3) an evening Support Group, depending upon the community. |

Experience as a Facilitator is helpful. Able to anticipate & deal with sensitive situations. Excellent communications skills, organizational skills. Able to work as part of a team. Good understanding of dementia is an asset. |
Commitment Length | Long Term (More than 1 year) ; The application process and training for this role is significant and takes some time. Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of one year. |
