|Duties||Event Day volunteers are needed at all Canadian Cancer Society events to ensure the event runs smoothly and is successful. There are various roles available at each event including: set up/clean up, logistics. registration, assisting with event detaills (eg. start and finish line) etc. |
This year the Society needs assistance for Pink in the Rink in February (Peterborough), Daffodil Days in March (all areas), Relay For Life in June (Peterborough, Cobourg and Campbellford), Devils Run in July (Bethany) and Bras Around the Building in October (Peterborough). Roles will vary by event.
Event day volunteering is ideal for students, families and groups that wish to get involved together!
All money raised at these event supports life-saving research and ensure programs and services are available in all communities.
