Duties

Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind is seeking volunteers to help with our local fundraising efforts in Orillia.
Our Guider Donation Dog program has operated in cities and towns across Canada for nearly 40 years, and continues to raise much needed funds that impact the lives of visually impaired Canadians in your community.

Volunteers will take care of and collect from 4 donation dogs currently in place at local businesses in Orillia. Collections take place 3-4 times per year, as fits the volunteer's schedule. Once collected, volunteers will deposit the funds at their local RBC branch.

Our flexible volunteer program is great for seniors, and those with busy lives that still want to contribute in a way that fits their schedule. Set your own hours and volunteer where and when it is convenient for you!

If you are interested in joining our Guider program in your community, send us an email at events@guidedogs.ca today!
