DutiesUp to 3 volunteers needed to assist KTTC Board members/Volunteer Coordinator with researching and writing funding proposals to fund-granting organizations. 
 
Volunteers who are accepted would work under a Lead who would coordinate their activities. Volunteers would work primarily on their own from their homes. Meetings would tend to be held by conference call though occasional live meetings can be expected. 
 
Volunteers will identify funding organizations that support projects related to: 
• Species-at-risk 
• Wildlife rehabilitation, conservation and education 
• Bio-diversity and the environment 
 
They will pre-qualify KTTC programs by reviewing the funder's requirements and funding proposal guidelines. The volunteer will then make recommendations to the Lead and they may be asked to draft funding proposals. Assistance and training on completing funding proposals will be available. 
 
Skills/Equipment Requirements 
• A computer with internet access. 
• Good attention to detail 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Self-directed. 
• Open to feedback 
 
Reporting Structure: 
The Grant Research and Proposal Subcommittee reports to the Fund-raising Committee through the Fund-raising Committee Chair.

LocationMost work can be done from home, may meet occassionally with fundraising chair as required.
