|Duties||*Family Play to Learn volunteers support staff in the operation of adult/child programs by helping to set up and facilitate activities, interact with children and parents, and help clean up at the end of program. |
*Library volunteers help with toy and book transactions and the assembly of learning kits.
*Volunteer parenting course leaders help to co-lead our parent-child and parent only classes on various parenting and child development topics.
*School readiness volunteer opportunities are available in different school settings throughout the school year.
*Lunch program volunteers help with the preparation of snacks and lunches at our School for Young Moms.

|Skills/Experience||Experience working with children helpful. Desire to work with children and parents required. Ability to work in a busy environment a necessity.|
|Commitment Length||We ask for a 3 month commitment in most of our programs. Longer term is possible.|
|Minimum Hours||3 / Month|
|Dates and Times||Programs times and days vary from Monday-Saturday. Programs run mornings, afternoons, and evenings. Our goal is to match a volunteer role with a volunteer's interests and skills within a time-frame that will work for them and our programs.|
|Location||Various Family Hub sites throughout City of Peterborough, Lakefield, and Norwood.|
