DutiesTeaching small groups of people about the constellations in the night sky or teaching about satellites and encouraging children to spot them in the sky. Duties may also include running an information table or directing people at the site.
BenefitsTo teach others about the wonders of the night sky. To educate others about the value of preserving darkness for individual health, the preservation of wildlife and the reduction of energy costs caused by excessive and unnecessary artificial lighting.

Additional RequirementsWe are working with Brian Leduc the Director of Parks and Recreation for McDougall Township. We will be in touch with him on a regular basis to ensure that this is a safe and enjoyable community family event.
