
French Converstion Falicitator
The conversation facilitator will lead weekly french conversation with independant living residents.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Leading Discussions: Guides conversations, ensuring everyone has a chance to speak and share their thoughts.
- Creating a Comfortable Atmosphere: Foster a relaxed environment where learners feel comfortable making mistakes and practicing their French.
- Providing Support and Encouragement: motivate participants to speak French and offer assistance when needed.
- Varying Activities: May incorporate games, group activities, or discussions around specific themes to keep the sessions engaging. Candidate must be fluent in French

Volunteers act as coaches in weekly sport training sessions, working with athletes with an intellectual disability in a variety of sports such as Floor Hockey, 5-Pin Bowling, Curling, Softball, Snowshoeing, Bocce, Pickleball and more!
Other volunteer positions include administrative roles on community councils (fundraising, secretary, public relations, etc.).



Be trained to conduct education sessions on fracture prevention to seniors at seniors centres, retirement homes and active living programs.

Once fully trained, you will help us assist the police to search for lost and missing persons, and respond to emergencies in the community (e.g. natural disaster cleanup and support)
