Two sites: Camphill Nottawasaga, near Angus and Camphill Sophia Creek in Barrie.  
Camphill Nottawasaga (Angus) offers programs in woodworking, pottery, candlemaking, bakery and painting. There are also opportunities to be involved in maple syrup production, working in the vegetable gardens and caring for livestock.  
Camphill Sophia Creek (Barrie) offers work in the mosaic studio, meal preparation skills in the Cafe, music, recreational activities and cultural outings. Also need help assisting with the retail store in downtown Barrie. Help needed with Bingo events and other special events such as our fairs.  
Both locations in need of volunteers to help with set-up, cash management and take-down at our Farmers Markets.

Volunteers are matched to clients who are living with a life threatening illness. They support and comfort their client and the clients' circle of support. Be it family or friends. The volunteers receive 30 hours of professional training from local doctors, nurses, pharmacists, spiritual leaders and social workers. Going into a clients homes. The goal is to be flexible and assist someone on this journey with whatever they might require. It could be physical, but usually it is emotional support and advocacy. Once the match has been made, the client and the volunteer set a time schedule that is good for both. Our volunteers visit in a clients home, long term care facility or hospital.

* Organize preparations prior to events. i.e. collecting and preparing craft materials, creating props for games, etc.
