Do you enjoy meeting people, making others feel welcome, and being the reason someone’s day starts off a little brighter?

Gilda’s Club Simcoe Muskoka is currently looking for volunteer greeters to help welcome members, guests, and visitors into our space.

As a greeter, you are often the very first smile someone sees when they walk through our doors. Whether someone is attending a support group, visiting for the first time, or simply having a difficult day, a warm welcome can make a huge difference.

Volunteer responsibilities may include:
• Greeting members and guests as they arrive
• Helping visitors feel comfortable and welcomed
• Answering basic questions or directing people within the building
• Assisting with light administrative or front desk support if needed

No experience is necessary. If you can smile, say hello, and resist the urge to hide when the phone rings, you are already halfway qualified.

This role is perfect for students, retirees, community members, or anyone looking to give back in a meaningful and supportive environment.

Volunteer Skills / Requirements

• Friendly and welcoming personality
• Comfortable speaking with people
• Reliable and punctual
• Basic comfort answering phones is an asset, but not required
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
