The Simcoe Muskoka Multiple Sclerosis Society is looking for volunteers to assist with the annual Mandarin MS Walk that is held in Midland, Barrie, Orillia, New Tecumseth (Alliston) & Collingwood each year the first Sunday in May.  
 
This event requires volunteers for one day only, to set up and then take down tables, distribute refreshments,food prep and serving, man pit stops and register walkers.
Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre, Sweetwater Harvest Festival
Wye Marsh
Assist the Wye Marsh with various aspects of the Sweetwater Festival including Security, Traffic and Parking.

Set up and take downs for events including barriers/ gates/ posters/ signs, organizing, registration, security. Assisting with Perch Fest, Boat Festival, Santa Clause Parade, Folk festival and Canada Day. Just to name a few festivals that we participate in. There is a position available for every interest.

Volunteers are needed in all of the following roles: greeting patrons, assisting with admission, directing parking, helping with event set-up and take-down, helping in the food concession, helping with event security, participating on a committee. Volunteers can choose what they would prefer to do to help.

Help needed in a variety of positions during annual fair in August. From working the gate to the children's activity centre.  
* Help needed with set-up, clean-up, planning, preparation, before, during or after the annual Agricultural Fair  
* Various committees need people to Chair and helpers  
* Homecraft Ladies have their own agenda, committees and meetings.They are a big part of the fair providing a breakfast and lunch each day plus presenting the Home craft division with hundreds of exhibitors.  
* Administration work in secretary's office. Four hour shift. 
 
Volunteers also needed for: 
* 105fm Video Party 
* Annual Chicken BBQ the last Sunday of May each year 
* Food booth a the Hoard's Station Sale Barn one Tuesday in August of each year

* Be pre-registered to assist with numerous tasks in the event of a large scale community disaster, emergency, or pandemic. 
* Every type of skill and ability will potentially be needed - from tree cutting and clearing to sand bagging to serving food to assisting large numbers of people living in emergency shelters. * Volunteers always have the right to refuse an assignment at the time they are contacted.
