The BMWTF has no office; most of the work can be done on the volunteer's computer at home.
Oversight, management and reporting of the BMWTF finances. (Another volunteer, a CPA, is responsible for the bookkeeping.) 
Review the draft financial statements on a bi-monthly basis with the accountant and present to the Board. 
Review the annual statements wth the accountant and auditor and present to the AGM. 
Answer board and members' questions about the financial statements. 
Bank account maintenance: Selecting a bank, signing cheques and investing excess funds wisely. 
Financial transaction oversight: Ensure appropriate limits on who has access to the BMWTF funds. Aware of outstanding bills or debts owed. 
Budgets: Developing annual budget for approval by the board. Comparing actual revenue and expense against the budget and providing a bi-monthly year forecast to the board. 
Overseeing the development and observation of BMWTF financial policies, including developing a system for keeping cash flows manageable.
