| Description | This volunteer department provides fire suppression and emergency services as well as education around fire prevention and protection. This department also provides fire extinguisher training, tours and public speaking services, and inspections upon request. The Township of Essa has a fire station in Thornton (station one) and Angus (station two): * Thornton Fire Station: 34 Robert St. * Angus Fire Station: 135 King St Fire permits are available at the Essa Administration Centre, 5786 County Rd 21 Utopia, or the Economic Development Centre, located in the Angus Arena | |||
