| Description | The Alliston Town Administration Centre is responsible for Town administration, the Mayor's office, administration and enforcement of municipal by-laws, dispensing business and all other municipal licences (lottery, marriage, dog licences), billing and collection of property taxes, fire permits, water and sewer, animal control, issuance of building permits and processing planning and engineering applications, human resource functions. | Meetings | All regular Council meetings are held in the Council Chambers, 10 Wellington Street East, Alliston at 7pm. Committee of the Whole Council meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Monday and Council meetings are held on the 2nd & 4th Monday of the month. When the day for a regular meeting is a public or civic holiday, there is no meeting held that week. During the months of February, July, August and December the number of meetings held is reduced.
