Description (Service) COVID-19 Response Due to the pandemic, volunteers will not be required until further notice 
 
Regular Service: 
Volunteer based food bank partnered with the Salvation Army Wiarton to provide food, staples and basic supplies to families and persons of the Chippewas of Nawash community. Assistance provided is based on family size. 
 
Also provides Toy Drive and Christmas Hamper program in December, registration is required.

Public Comments The food bank is closed from Dec 18, 2020 to Jan 4, 2021 and will reopen on Jan 5, 2021.
Hours COVID-19 Hours Tue 2 pm-4 pm * Thu 11 am-1 pm 
 
Regular Hours: Thu 10:30 am-1 pm * offered every Thu except the first Thu of month
Dates Application will only be accepted in Nov. 
Pickup / delivery dates: Dec 15,16, 2020 10 am-4 pm

Christmas hampers: 
Apply during regular food bank hours. Bring ID with proof of address along with names and birth dates of people living in home, phone number and band number.  
 
Available for pickup or delivery. For delivery, indicate when completing application. 
 
If someone is picking up on your behalf, a signed letter from head of household
