Description

Description (Service) Offers a safe, supervised place for parental visits or exchanges of children in custody and access disputes during separation or divorce. Situations that require this service include:
  • concerns about the safety of the child and/or custodial parent
  • non-custodial parent has a history of drug or alcohol problems, or concerns regarding mental health
  • there has been a lengthy separation between the parent and the child
  • there is a threat of abduction
  • there is ongoing conflict between the parties

Hours Fri 5 pm-9 pm, Sun 9 am-5 pm
Areas Served Kawartha Lakes
Eligibility No restrictions
Application Intake interviews required for both parents
  • referrals accepted by Court Order and lawyer of either parent or child
  • also accepts self-referrals with both parents written agreement
Languages Interpretive Services
Fees Service - both parents pay fees ; Administration Fee - payable at intake - applied to service fees
