|Description (Service)||Patrols provincial highways and bodies of water. Enforces laws concerning vehicle traffic, liquor, gambling and illegal drugs under provincial statutes and criminal code. Informs citizens on crime prevention, safety and police oriented matters.
Is responsible for complaints such as barking dogs and noise control issues under town by-laws, after hours.
Text to 9-1-1 service available for persons who are deaf, hard of hearing or speech impaired. Eligible individuals must pre-register with their wireless provider for this service.
