Description (Service) COVID-19 Response As of July 2, 2020, transit fares have been reinstated* Transit passes will be available for purchase or renewal at the Town Hall or the RecPlex office * Transit will operate on its normal schedule 
Regular Service: 
Wasaga Beach Transit is available 7 days a week * Service operates on 2 continuous overlapping loops with a bus transfer system * Each direction operates on a 35-40 minute cycle * An accessible bus * 2 wheelchair spots * 18 seats * 2 bike racks * Check website for routes and further details 
Wasaga Beach Transit in partnership with YMCA Youth Centre is offering monthly bus passes to children ages 6-19 for $5 
Simcoe County LINX Route 2  
The transit link between Wasaga Beach and Barrie * Service operates on an hour schedule starting from the Allandale Waterfront Station in Barrie and the Superstore on 45th St in Wasaga Beach * Barrie-Wasaga Beach link is fully accessible and fares are $6 * Transfers between the link and the local transit systems are not available * For details on routes and schedules click here 
Simcoe County LINX Route 4  
The transit link between Wasaga Beach and Collingwood * Service operates on a half hour schedule starting on the hour from the Collingwood bus terminal at 100 Pine street and arriving in Wasaga Beach at the Superstore on 45th St on a half hour continuous loop * Collingwood-Wasaga Beach link is fully accessible and fares are $2 * Transfers between the link and the local transit systems are not available * For details on routes and schedules click here

Wasaga Transit: Mon-Sun 7 am-9 pm 
Wasaga Beach to Barrie route: Mon-Fri 5:30 am-7:25 pm  
Wasaga Beach to Collingwood route: Mon-Fri 6 am-9 pm * Sat, Sun 7 am-9 pm

Fees Service ; Transit passes are issued using a Smart Card which contains an embedded chip that is recognizable to an electronic reader on the bus, and allows customers to pay their fare with a tap of the card 
Single ride fares - exact change required: 
* Adults - $2 
* Children, Students and Seniors - $1.50 
* Under 5 Years of age - free 
* Visually Impaired (CNIB card required) - free 
Monthly bus passes:  
* Adult - $40 per month * Separate passes required for Wasaga Transit and Simcoe County LINX Route 4 
* Senior/Youth - $30 per month
