Description (Service)

Provides meals to individuals living at home to ensure their nutritional needs are met.

Volunteers deliver hot or frozen meals, provide regular social contact, and monitor for potential crisis situations.
Special diets are available to accommodate client dietary needs such as diabetic or low-sodium.
Hot meals are only delivered to Shelburne and Orangeville clients. Cost is $7.50 per hot meal.
Frozen meals are delivered to clients living throughout Dufferin County. Cost is $33 for 7 frozen entrees or 5 frozen entrees with 5 soups or desserts.
Congregate Dining program - provides a weekly nutritious hot supper and social opportunity for a small cost.
