Service: Infant and Child Development Program

Description (Service) Offers home visiting early intervention and prevention services and supports to assist families with infants and toddlers with established risks, biological risks and psychosocial risks of delays in development or disability to attain an optimal level of development.  
Parents are recognized as primary participants in this process. All services and supports are family-centred.  
Services include:  
* home visiting  
* developmental screening and assessment 
* individualized, play-based programming in areas such as gross and fine motor  
* skills speech, language and communication 
* cognitive and social skills 
* community education  
* professional development

Hours Mon-Fri 8:30 am-4:30 pm * evening appointments arranged on request
Areas Served Bruce County ; Grey County ; Grey and Bruce Counties are served by the Infant and Child Development Programs provided by Community Living Owen Sound and District, Community Living Kincardine and District, Community Living Walkerton and District.
Eligibility Ages: 5 year(s) and under 
Children at risk of delays in development and children with identified special needs.
