Description (Service) Organization whose goals are to provide support and social gatherings to veterans and their families, and to the community * Motto is 'Service not for self-but service for others'.  
 
Celebrates Legion Week in September * Annual Poppy campaign is held the first two weeks in November, activities included are: 
* tag days 
* a parade to the cenotaph on Remembrance Day, November 11, followed by a service at the cenotaph and comradeship at the Legion 
* Proceeds from the Poppy campaign are used to assist ex-veterans and their families, bursaries for education, literacy and poster contest prizes 
 
Offer a limited loan cupboard with wheelchairs and walkers, call for details.

Hours Thu 3 pm-7 pm (sometimes 10 pm), Fri 2 pm-11 pm, Sat 2 pm-6 pm

Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and up 
 
Membership is open to the public - you must be 18 years of age or older; be a citizen of Canada, or a Commonwealth or NATO/Wartime Allied Country  
 
Age restrictions apply to consuming alcohol * age of Majority card is required
