Description
Description (Service) | COVID19 Service Change: Offered virtually as well as on site with smaller groups of clients. To help adjust for the reduced group size, we have introduced additional days of service to provide more service availability. We continue to follow up with weekly check-in calls for clients who have chosen not to return due to COVID-19 to ensure their well-being. Transportation is available and can be arranged if needed. Overnight Respite primarily for caregiver relief caring for someone with dementia related disease. Designed to give caregiver up to a 30 hour break. The client remains at the day centre overnight after the regular program day has ended and stays until 3 pm the next day. There are always two staff present and a maximum of three clients in the overnight program. All activities and meals are provided during the respite stay. Baths are offered to clients each day. Clients must bring a complete list of medications taken in a 24 hour period (including over the counter medications). All medications must arrive in the original container. |
