Description
Description (Service) | Social, recreational and therapeutic activities to support older adults in a group setting for part of the day that helps to support family caregivers who provide day-to-day care. Designed to support and engage seniors who may have difficulty accessing other programs in the community due to physical frailty, disability or chronic illness. Assistance with activities of daily living provided. Activities include morning discussion and coffee, mental aerobic activity, daily exercise program full course noon meal, physical activities (such as bowling, bocce ball) and large and small group activities (such as dominoes, crafts, bingo, or musical entertainment). All games and activities are adapted so every participant is successful. |
