| Description (Service) | Team of trained nurses and social workers provide direct counselling services to individuals dealing with sexual assault (past or present) or partner abuse. Services include: * emotional support and crisis counselling * safety planning and risk assessment * collection of sexual assault and domestic violence evidence (with or without police involvement) * treatment and follow-up medical care * treatment to prevent sexually transmitted infections and pregnancy * referrals to community services if required * court support information |

| Public Comments | For urgent care, clients can call the Emergency Department at Grey Bruce Health Services (Owen Sound hospital) at 519-376-2121 or go in person to the closest emergency department. The 24 hour on-call Sexual Assault/Partner Abuse nurse will be contacted. |
