Description (Service) COVID-19 Response  
During the COVID-19 pandemic, public presentations have been suspended until further notice, however we are able to provide virtual presentations and some of our scripts are available on the CMHAGB that can be viewed at anytime Youtube channel  
Regular Service 
Children's mental health prevention program featuring child-sized hand and rod puppets for children to discuss social issues affecting them. Staff and trained volunteers provide presentations to schools, youth-focused agencies, community groups and at special events in the community.  
Offers presentations on the following topics: 
  • Friendship/Respect and Good Manners for preschool and primary students  
  • ADHD (appreciating our differences including our strengths and weaknesses)  
  • Anger (managing and responding to anger) 
  • Change (dealing with change in the family, features the Rainbows program) 
  • Anti-Bullying (how to cope with bullies)  
  • Self Esteem 
  • Anti-Smoking (discussion on peer pressure and confidence in making healthy choices)  
  • Secrets vs Surprises (the importance of reaching out for help) for primary and junior students
Also offers special presentations on: 
  • Fire Prevention and Community Policing awareness
