Text to 9-1-1 service available for individuals who are hearing or speech impaired. Cell phone needs to be registered for 9-1-1 with wireless carrier, then caller dials 9-1-1 (must call, not text) and call will initiate texting capability to communicate emergency messaging via text.

MedicAlert Connect Protect

• Collaboration between MedicAlert and the OPP to ensure police officers have direct 24/7 access to important information about people who have a tendency to wander, including those living with autism, Alzheimer's, dementia or other cognitive brain injuries
• Gives police officers 24-hour access to a registered subscriber's photo, identifying information, past wandering history, triggers, de-escalation techniques and other information through the MedicAlert database
